Main Responsibilities

Primarily responsible for the development of the tropical agriculture international cooperation and exchange base and the tropical agriculture international training base, as well as international exchange and cooperation, projects, and platform development.

1. Responsible for organizing the formulation and implementation of the plans for the tropical agriculture international cooperation and exchange base and the tropical agriculture international training base.

2. Responsible for organizing and carrying out strategic research on world tropical agriculture development; establishing a management system for international exchange and cooperation in tropical agricultural science and technology; and advancing the global strategic layout of tropical agricultural science and technology.

3. Responsible for managing the Academy’s scientific and technological exchange and cooperation with relevant countries (regions) and international organizations; organizing and coordinating the holding of important academy-level international conferences; and handling foreign affairs reception in accordance with regulations.

4. Responsible for organizing the introduction of technology, expertise, resources, and foreign-funded projects; and for organizing the planning, application, and execution management of major international exchange and cooperation projects.

5. Responsible for organizing and implementing the international exchange and cooperation work at the Academy headquarters, and for guiding and supervising the operation and management of the Academy’s platform institutions that are placed under the professional oversight of this division.
