Main Responsibilities

Primarily responsible for the organization and management of academy-local government cooperation and the provision of scientific and technological support for rural revitalization in tropical regions.

1．Responsible for organizing the formulation and implementation of the plan for rural industrial development supported by science and technology in tropical regions.

2．Responsible for organizing academy-local government cooperation; guiding the development of demonstration sites for science and technology-led rural revitalization in tropical regions; and promoting rural industrial development in tropical regions.

3．Responsible for organizing the construction of experimental and demonstration bases in tropical regions, and for organizing Academy-wide science and technology services, including poverty alleviation through science and technology, bringing science and technology to the countryside, science and technology-based disaster relief, and science popularization activities.

4．Responsible for organizing and implementing the related industrial development work at the Academy headquarters, and for guiding and supervising the operation and management of the Academy's platform institutions that are placed under the professional oversight of this division.
