In view of the breeding needs of small farmers in rocky desertification mountainous area of Baoshan City of Yunnan Province, CATAS established expert workstations and a demonstration base here to help small farmers to plant grass and raise cattle scientifically. Through the establishment of demonstration base in Baoshan, it promotes the local mountain ecological circular agriculture mode, realizes the coordinated development of ecological restoration, industrial development and poverty alleviation. At present, there are 36 families raising cattle. Each family raises 8-10 cattle, with an annual income increase by 3900.00 USD averagely.
