Risk Assessment Lab mainly focuses on the potential harmful factors of the tropical agro-products, aims to get the science frontiers of the agro-produce quality safety risk assessment and meets the technological requirements for food safety surveillance on tropical agro-products. It has made tropical agro-product quality and safety risk assessment, track evaluation of latent risk and risk control communication etc., which offers technology support for the government’s quality & safety risk management for agro-products.
The Analysis and Testing Center (ATC) was approved by the ministry of agriculture as the laboratory of quality & safety risk assessment for tropical products in 2011. Since then, ATC has continuously conducted the national projects of agro-product quality & safety risk assessment mainly on tropical fruits, including field investigation sample analysis, risk assessment in tropical areas.
