Tropical Agriculture Standard Laboratory（TASL） is staffed by 4 with 3 senior and 1 intermediate.
The TASL is committed to prepare and revise proposal standard for banana, mango, cassava and other major tropical agricultural products; to track down relative trop[ca; agricultural product standards from United States, European Union, CAC, ASEAN and other regions or organizations, so as to constantly improve the tropical agricultural products quality and safety standard system in China; to explore tropical agriculture standards going abroad; to improve China’s tropical agricultural science and technology influence and voice in world communities so that to enable better services to “Belt & Road” initiative; to serve as the platform for Tropical Crops and Products Standardization Technical Sub-Committee under the Ministry of Agriculture Tropical Economic Crops Technical Committee. The existing research fund is RMB 2.1 million Yuan, of which 350 000 Yuan for 2017. So far, the Lab has carried out 5 projects at national, provincial or ministerial levels and international cooperation projects as well. Some 30 papers have been published by now.
