Recently, at the invitation of the Secretariat of the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) of FAO, Xie Jianghui, Vice President of CATAS, visited Cambodia with another 5 CATAS banana experts to carry out the FAO project " the Second Phase of Training Course on Quarantine and Prevention of Fusarium Wilt of Banana in Cambodia". A total of 25 officials, technical experts from the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Cambodia, and representatives of banana production enterprises participated in the training. Through this training, the participants have proficiently mastered the isolation, cultivation, and molecular identification techniques of Foc R1 and Foc TR4, as well as the key points of prevention and control techniques, providing strong technical support for the comprehensive prevention and control of Fusarium Wilt of Banana in Cambodia.
