Main Responsibilities

Primarily responsible for the Academy’s capital construction development planning, land use planning, and capital construction management.

1.Responsible for organizing the formulation and implementation of the spatial development plan for the Academy and its institutes, the medium- and long-term capital construction development plan, and the land use plan of the Academy.

2.Responsible for managing the project construction of the National Tropical Agriculture Science Center, the Nanfan Public Service Platform for Science and Technology, branch institutes in tropical regions, and the Academy’s internal experimental and demonstration bases.

3.Responsible for the management of engineering construction operations across the Academy; organizing the compilation and submission of annual application plans and investment plans for construction projects; organizing the review and submission of project proposals, feasibility study reports, and preliminary designs for construction projects; and organizing supervision, inspection, performance evaluation of construction projects, as well as completion acceptance work entrusted by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs.

4.Responsible for the planning, acceptance of applications, review, implementation, and evaluation of repair and procurement projects for building renovation and infrastructure upgrading across the Academy.

5.Responsible for organizing and implementing the management of capital construction projects and repair and procurement projects for building renovation and infrastructure upgrading at the Academy headquarters, and for guiding and supervising the operation and management of the Academy’s platform institutions that are placed under the professional oversight of this division.
