Key Technical Points: To address the problems of low production efficiency and high costs in the black pepper industry chain, this technology focuses on breeding major cultivated varieties, and has developed green and efficient production techniques including the propagation of high-yield and high-quality varieties, efficient cultivation, environmentally friendly disease prevention and control, mechanical processing, as well as high value-added products and supporting equipment. This has resulted in a complete set of supporting technologies for efficient black pepper production. These supporting technologies are notably efficient, eco-friendly, and cost-saving.

Application Prospects: The achievements have won one First Prize and two Second Prizes of the Hainan Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award. They provide mature supporting technical support for the current standardized production and processing of black pepper, and play a radiating and driving role for the black pepper industry in China and in tropical regions worldwide.
